Canada is known for showing its pride in some of the biggest ways. To help you decide how to celebrate, we have put together a list of the best stops to make over the four days of celebrations. Let us help you celebrate 157 years of this great country!

Thursday, June 27

The Chatham-Kent and Tilbury Fireworks!

  • Tilbury has planned a fireworks event filled with family-friendly fun. The town will provide the little ones with glow sticks, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, and cupcakes! So, let the kids cap off their last day of school with a stunning fireworks showdown in Memorial Park
    • Where: Memorial Park, Stewart St, Chatham-Kent 
    • When: 7:00-11:00 pm

Friday, June 28

Colling-would Love to Have you This Canada Day! 

  • Are you interested in a getaway this Canada Day weekend? If so, Collingwood is ready to welcome you! The town of Collingwood is putting on a weekend-long festival starting Friday, hosting multiple activities including Ontario musicians, lego building contest, farmer’s market, and many other events
  • Where: 97 Hurontario St, Collingwood 
  • When: First event starting at 6:00 pm

Pelee Island is Bringing the Party This Canada Day

  • If you would like something closer to home visit the Westview Tavern and enjoy the six-piece band of J#Major headlining their Canada day celebration
  • Relax and take in the Pelee Island waterside breeze for this Canada Day celebration! 
    • Where: Westview Tavern – 1065 W Shore Rd, Pelee 
    • When: festivities start at 9:00 pm 

Saturday, June 29

Wineology Invites You to their Lounge Party! 

  • A perfect way to kick off the Canada Day weekend is Wineology’s lounge party in Kingsville! This party will feature a 5-course meal, live music, and scenic views from their second-floor dining room.  
  • The lounge party is $145/ ticket including all the above activities and more!
    • Where: Wineology 16 Main St. East, Kingsville 
    • When: 7:00 pm-12:00 am

Sunday, June 30

I’ll Take My Canada Day Summer-Side Up!

  • This fun day trip clocks in at about three and a half hours round trip! Bring a friend, family, or your significant other, London is hosting a range of events where there’s something fun for everyone. 
  • This Canada Day festival is brought to you by the Summerside Community Club, running events throughout the evening. Check out their Facebook for all the details!
    • Where: Meadowgate Park – 1165 Darnley Blvd, London 
    • When: 4:00-10:30 pm  

Monday, July 1

Wake up, Warm up, and Walk Out This Canada Day 

  • Start your Canada Day celebrations early with the annual Amherstburg Walkers & Runners Around the County of Essex. This event is a five-kilometer route around the beautiful town of Amherstburg! 
  • All proceeds earned from the event will go toward local charities including the Amherstburg Food and Fellowship Mission, Bryerswood Youth and Optimist Camp, and the Amherstburg Community Services.  
    • Where: 100 Laird Ave, S. Amherstburg 
    • When: Starting at 9:00 am 

Nobody is Going to Rain on This Parade! 

  • Massive floats, glamorous costumes, delicious treats, and loads of Canadian passion. You guessed it! It is the beloved Canada Day parade hosted annually in downtown Windsor, brought to us this year by the Windsor Parade Corporation

  • Kingsville would love to cap off your Canada day with a stacked six hours of unlimited events and fun activities. 

True North Leisure and Activities

  • We hope you can find some time in this eventful day to stop by Lakeshore and see what they have to offer this holiday. The town has come up with many Canadian themed entertainment, local grub, and historical features!
