On Saturday, September 14, the Windsor-Essex community came together to celebrate the power and creativity of local female entrepreneurs at The Future is Female Market. Hosted by My Mortgage Girl Gisele and held at the stunning LFX Supply Centre, this event showcased over 30 female-owned vendors, offering everything from handcrafted goods to local services. With food, live music, and activities for the whole family, it was a day filled with inspiration, fun, and community spirit.

From 10 AM to 4 PM, families enjoyed a variety of activities including face painting and character meet-and-greets for the kids. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as attendees explored the vendor booths, each representing some of the region’s most talented women in business.

But that wasn’t all – the event had plenty of surprises! From exclusive giveaways to swag bags filled with goodies, there was something for everyone. The highlight of the day was a major giveaway featuring a stunning $7,000 patio set from LFX Supply Centre, making one lucky winner’s day.

For fitness enthusiasts, this year introduced something new and exciting. Whitney St. Pierre, a certified fitness coach specializing in solo, partner, and small group training, hosted three dynamic fitness classes throughout the day. Whitney, who operates out of Brady’s Fitness in Tecumseh, trains women of all ages, particularly focusing on moms and moms-to-be, helping them gain muscle, lose fat, and reconnect with their core through strength training. Attendees had the opportunity to join beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, offering a fun way to get active while enjoying the event.
