Getting a Father’s Day gift could be the trickiest thing when you want to find a way to show appreciation for such an important man in a person’s life. As difficult as it may be to pick the perfect gift to express your admiration for that father figure in your life, we would like to make it a little easier by offering some options! 

Take Him Out to the Ball Game!

An oldie but a goodie, bring your dad across the river for a Detroit Tigers game! Enjoy a nice evening outdoors with your dad watching a classic major league baseball game. Grab some popcorn, a hot dog, and a nice cold beer, and kick it in the bleachers with the man of the hour!

Wolfhead Distillery Has Got Your Back This Father’s Day

Hook, Line, and Sinker at River Canard! 

River Canard is a fishing hotspot in Windsor where you can take your dad with good odds of something to catch. You can rent a boat or a kayak for the day or you can go fly fishing from the docks, so no boat, no problem! 

The best part about Father’s Day weekend is that it is free to fish without a fishing license! So, please bring your dad out and buy him an ice cream at the River Canard Outpost afterward!

Ribfest Makes its Way Back to Windsor! 

If your dad happens to be a barbecue lover, then you may be interested in bringing him out to Amherstburg! The annual Ribfest comes back to bring your local vendors with tasty food, good drinks, and plenty of Windsor pride!

Family Movie Night! 

Treat Dad to a movie at the Boonies Drive-in movie theatre! Movies can be made so much better when they can be viewed under the stars. Father’s Day weekend the Boonies will be showing Inside Out 2 and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.  

Whether you’re in the mood for family friendly fun or an action-packed adventure you should stir up your movie night by taking it to the drive-in!

Cranbrook Art Museum and Mini Golf

This beautiful Cranbrook Art Museum also has a mini golf course in its backyard! Every ticket for the mini golf course gets you free admission to the art gallery and on Father’s Day, Dad’s ticket is completely FREE! 

You can play a round of putt-putt, learn about some art, and maybe even find a souvenir!
